The US Department of State requires that teachers participating in the Exchange Visitor Program must complete a cultural activity component annually, which includes two requirements:
1. First, each teacher must complete an activity for the teacher's classroom, larger host school or host school district population, or the community at large that gives an overview of a cultural aspect of the teacher's home country. This must be done within the United States and during each year of program participation.
2. Second, each teacher must complete an activity that involves U.S. student dialogue with students in another country, preferably the teacher's home country.
Please complete this form to let us know how you have completed these two requirements for the 2026-27 school year. Keep in mind that if you request to extend your visa beyond three years, a copy of these reports will be sent to the State Department. Write them in complete sentences, paragraph form, and descriptive enough that someone unfamiliar with what you teach could read and understand what the activity included. Thank you!
